Hal David, a songwriter was born on May 25, 1921 but sad to say we lost a legendary songwriter because of complication from stroke. Hal David dies at 91 in LA after having his stroke
Hal David died of complications from a stroke on Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, confirmed by his wife, Eunice. He suffered a major stroke in March and another last Tuesday and really give up his life last Saturday.
“Even at the end, Hal always had a song in his head,” his wife said. “He was always writing notes, or asking me to take a note down, so he wouldn’t forget a lyric.”
Hal David with her longtime partner in writing Burt Bacharach wrote lots of famous hits of ” The Beatles “, Frank Sinatra, and Dionne Warwick. Bacharach and David were among the most successful music teams in modern history, with top 40 hits including Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head, Walk On By and I Say a Little Prayer.
